Pricing
System pricing is based on information provided, i.e. location, application, operating profile, etc. If Project Parameters section is incorrect, please contact Sol immediately.
Prices shall be honored for orders released to production within 90 days from Issue Date; after 90 days but less than 180 days, price is subject to a maximum 10% escalation; if more than 180 days, new pricing must be issued.
Unless otherwise noted, pricing is exclusive of transportation, duties, VAT, sales tax, inspection fees, storage fees, or any other levies required by local, State, or Federal/Country law.
All sales order confirmations are emailed at time of order placement. Confirmation must be reviewed and any changes must be sent to Sol to assure correct manufacturing. Silence is acceptance of order.
Additional credit information may be requested by Sol and acceptance of order does not guarantee best payment terms of 2% 10 days net 30
Holds/Cancellation/Returns
Orders released for production and subsequently placed on Hold at any point shall incur a combined finance and materials storage charge equal to 0.1%/Day of Hold (or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is greater) of the balance due. Orders not released from Hold within 30 days shall be considered Cancelled and subject to the additional penalties listed in 5) below.
Orders released to production and subsequently cancelled are subject to the following recourse: a) Standard Products with a value less than $20,000, and finished in a STOCK color – no cancellation charges; b) Standard Products with a value $20,000 > but < $100,000, and finished in a STOCK color – subject to a 15% cancellation charge; c) Standard Products finished in a NON-STOCK color, or with a value $100,000 >, or Non-standard Products with any value – may NOT be cancelled (subject to a 100% cancellation charge).
Standard Products finished in a STOCK color may be returned for 80% credit toward the product cost only if returned unopened and uninstalled within 45 days of the ship date.
All Returns for any reason must include a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which is issued by Sol Customer Care department. Sol assumes no responsibility for any returns received by Sol without an associated RMA number. Returns as a result of shipping damage must be noted and reported to freight carrier and Sol as instructed in Shipping Documents, and within the timeframes listed in said Shipping Documents.
Freight and Delivery
Unless otherwise noted, all goods are shipped FOB Palm City, FL with risk of loss passing to Buyer immediately upon shipment from Sol’s facility. Title to goods shall pass to Buyer only after payment in full.
Buyer must make arrangements to properly receive and if necessary, store the goods. Any storage or other fees incurred by Sol as a result of Buyer’s inability to take delivery of goods for any reason shall be charged back to Buyer at actual cost plus 15%, and shall be due immediately.
For shipments outside the continental United States, freight charges shown are for transportation to port of export in the United States.
Poles and Installation
Poles provided by Sol as part of this system shall meet all applicable building codes in force at time of quotation when installed as directed. Sol assumes no liability for conformance to building codes for poles provided by Buyer or others.
Unless otherwise noted, installation of any type is not included, with Buyer responsible for system installation.
Unless Sol Factory Commissioning is included, Sol shall bear no responsibility for unsatisfactory system performance due to full or partial shading or other site-related issues, even when a site plan or pictures have been provided to Sol.
Warranty
Unless otherwise noted, system warranty shall be Sol Gold Level, which is Sol’s standard “Two Plus” limited warranty with 100% parts coverage ranging from 2 to 20 years, depending on the specific components. Other warranties may be available with longer warranty periods and/or 100% labor allowance included.
Modifications
No modifications to any terms contained herein shall be allowed unless confirmed in writing by an Officer of Sol.
