- The SL-HF/HR features a patented solar panel mounting
system in which the panels lie flat on the mounting bracket.
The flat panels allow the light to be installed in any direction,
regardless of sun path direction. This makes the SL-HF/HR
ideal for random direction installations such as winding
streets or parking lots, and installations within 30°
of the Equator. The flat panel design presents a very low
wind profile. Important in areas exposed to high winds such
as hurricanes or typhoons.
- The SL-HF/HR Series is a highly reliable, stand-alone
lighting system. The luminaire, solar panels, rugged battery
enclosure, panel mounting platform and mounting bracket
provide a totally integrated, self-contained ruggedized
lighting source.
- Vented aluminum panel pan covers 100% of the solar array
bottom for vandalism and wind-blow protection.
- Vented aluminum battery box holds battery(s) and controller.
Mounted on the main support bracket and shaded by the panels.
- Sturdy corrosive resistant aluminum structural members
and stainless steel hardware throughout.
- Typical five (5) day battery reserve in case of inclement
weather.
- Maintenance free gel batteries.
- Standard models include either a Cobrahead cut off lens
or dome lens.
- Equipment can be mounted on a square or round pole. HF
Series designed for square pole. HR Series designed for
round pole. Pole must be properly designed and certified
for proper wind load and wind zone.
